Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the 'Man of Miracles' as he was popularly known as- is a phenomenon to reckon with. He said and practised “Manva Seva Madhav Seva’ and that saying is still the final word for his ardent disciple. His exit from our midst has raised so much interest among his non-believers, that today everyone is curious to know more about this personality, who Created Wonders and Controversies alike! Inspired by the adulations he received from the high and the mighty and the common man alike, a team of producer from Tollywood Sri. Karatam Rambabu and a reputed philanthropist has approached Sri Kodi Ramakrishna - A doyen of Telugu and Tamil film industry to make a film on the Life and Mission of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Shri. Karatam Rambabu is synonymous for good quality movies. He has produced and co-produced many telugu films with leading directors. ‘Devullu’ with Kodi Ramakrishna, ‘Abhi Saarika’ with Dasari Narayana Rao and ‘Bhakta Kannapa’ with Krishnam Raju are few of his productions. This movie is produced under his banner ‘Sowbhagya Chitra’ The movie would be multi-lingual and plans are there to dub the movie in all the languages in the world which his devotees speak.

Sri Kodi Ramakrishna who has to his credit, more than 130 films - 90 % of which were super hits, has directed several mythological, musical, socio-fantasy as well as socially relevant films and is a household name in Andhra Pradesh. His last film "Arundathi" starring Anushka Shetty and Sonu Sood was a record breaking block buster that was dubbed into several other Indian languages also. A devout and socially-conscious person, Mr. Ramakrishna adapts himself well to changing pulse of the audiences and is adept in dramatic visualizations of contemporary real life happenings! Music is composed by Mr. Illayaraja, a name synonymous with quality music with a distinct international appeal. A man behind more than 900 films in many South Indian languages, Hindi and other Indian languages. A plethora of artiste from Bollywood, Kollywood, and Tollywood will make this movie a truly pan-Indian movie and with quality technicians this would be a pan-International movie. The BBC had once researched to reveal that Sri Sathya Sai Baba has over a 50 million devotees all over the globe in 158 countries! If these were the findings - 20 years ago - Baba's clout and devotees have only grown over the years, with each miracle and controversy alike. Today, there are an estimated 60 million devotees in India itself, apart from thousands of others who are curious to know more about this God - who has walked on earth in our own times! The film which is being well researched to make it an authentic treatise on Baba has already generated a lot of interest in the media and public in Andhra Pradesh. Buoyed by the response, the producers and the director want to dub and market this film, not only in India, but many other overseas languages abroad.

The movie was launched on 14th October in the august presence of His Excellency Government of Tamilnadu Mr. Rosiah.
